School is out for the Summer. Time to get crafting.( Mini Album)

Wow it feels like forever since I have been in my craft room and actually enjoyed it.  I really needed to get started on some projects.  Lets start the summer off with a cute  and simple mini album.  This album is a 6 by 6 album and was inspired by paper I didn't even know I had.  It will be great for a graduation or wedding affair.  Click the pic to enlarge.

 Ingredients:
Paper
glue
glue dots
buttons ribbon
cinch
1 inch metal rings
bling
fun fur
cream city ribbon
tags
other embellishments

You can see I made some of my own tags  with the left over paper I had.  Buttons give such a great look to this mini album.

Hope you enjoyed your stop.

Hugs and Blessings,
Meighen

Winter Mini Album Using an Acrylic Base

Oh my gosh have I missed my scrap room.  It felt relaxing to go in there and use my imagination.  I have been so busy with the holidays and getting more hours at work that I have not had time to craft.  I think I may have to start scheduling things in advance now.  That is okay though. lol

With the time that I have found the during the last week, I have slowly put together this really cute winter mini using Christmas goodies.  Sorry this is not a tutorial but I have not had the time.  I hope it gives you inspiration non the less and that you all had a great Christmas and received lots of crafting  goodies to play with.

Welcome to the Funmare Before Halloween Blog HOP Hosted by KINDERSTAMPO

First, let me start off by saying thanks to Jess at KinderStampo for inviting me to do this hop with her and all of the other talented ladies.  I hope you are all enjoying the creeping through the hop. You should be arriving here from Martha.  If this is your first stop, you need to head over to Jessica at KinderStampo.

Secondly, I am presenting a super cute Mini Mini Album that is so simple to make and you will have lots of fun doing it.

Cut out 6  4X4 pieces of chipboard and 12 pieces of Halloween paper.  Apply the paper to the chipboard using glue.  Punch holes at the 2 and 3 inch mark.  Decorate your pages as you would like using bling, buttons, embellishments, border punches, or anything else you would like.  Apply them with hot glue.  insert your binder rings through the holes and tie lots and lots of ribbon onto the binder rings to hide them.  That is all you need to do.  Insert your pictures or give as a gift.  This is good for any holiday.
For the mini mini tags all you have to do is cut out a 1 1/2 X 2 or 3 inch piece of chipboard and cover with paper.  Add an embellishment or leave blank.

BONE CHILLING CARD
For this card I used the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge and Scrappy Moms Stamps (A Haunting We Will Go).
The image is on page 29 and cut at 4 inches.  The chipboard around Mr. Bones is from K&Company (Spooktacular chipbox) tied on with some twine.
I used Stickles to accent his top hat,  a scallop border punch from Stamping Up and I used my I-Rock and the pearls to go with it on the border.

You next stop is Mel over at http://scrappymel.blogspot.com/
Let's see what she has brewing in her cauldron.
GIVEAWAY
For the giveaway, I am giving out another scrapbook layout made by me away with some Halloween paper and some bling.

Just leave a comment (one per person please)  on this post and a way for me to get a hold of you. If you win, you will have 3 days to respond to my email to you.  If you don't, I will pick someone else.  I really do not want to do that.  I would love for you to become a follower but not required.

Happy Haunting and enjoy the rest of the hop.
