Mother's Day Frame #1

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog.  Today I have for you and altered 8 x 10 picture frame.  I used Mariposa paper by DCWV, high gloss MOD PODGE, K & Co. embellishments, soft suede ink, a sponge dauber, pearls, lace ribbon, UTEE, some Prima flowers and some Stampin Up rose embellishments.  I hope you enjoy frame number one.  Number two will come in a later post.  These frames are both  going to be given as Mothers day gifts.   One to my mom and one to my mother in law. :D

I first laid my paper down with the pretty part of the paper faced down and used a hobby blade to cut around the outside and inside of the frame.  I glued the paper down and used the mod podge on top.
Here in the left you can also see I used the prima flowers and SU roses along with the lace ribbon.  The lace ribbon was inked up to look old with the soft suede.
Gold colored pearls were used on both sides of the frame.
Same in the picture below.

Here  to the left I used a chipboard embellishment and inked it up before sticking it down.  (K&Co)

Here on the right you can see the butterfly.  I hand cut it out and used some UTEE (ultra thick embossing powder) to give it shine and stability. You can see it on the butterfly  above also.
Hugs and Blessings,
