Bank of Friends

Hi everyone.  I think you will really get a kick out of this card.  Sad to say  I made this card under sad circumstances.   A co-worker  recently had her debit card stolen and used.  A good amount of cash was charged to it.  :(   We decided to take up a collection  for her to see if we could help out a little with recovering her loss.  Thanks to my crafty friend Deanna on Facebook for the sentiment that inspired the card.  I was totally at a loss of ideas so here is what I came up with.

This is a letter envelope size card.  the base is
4 X 9 1/4, the cream layer is 3 3/4 X 8 1/2, the pink polka dot layer is 3 1/2 X 8.

Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder was used on the cream paper.

The pink pig is from the Animal Kingdom Cartridge and is cut at 3.5 inches.  I inked up the pig using Blush Blossom and the hoofs with creamy caramel.

The lettering is from the Cindy Loo Cartridge and cut at .7 inches and welded together on the Gypsy.
Stickles in Crystal were used on the letters.
I cut a slit on the pig, popped it up on pop dots and slid a penny with a glue dot down into the piggy.

I used a piece of twine and tied it into a bow just for fun.

Cute google eyes with lashes were used to give the pig a female gender.

Hope you find this card as cute as I do.

Hugs and Blessings,
