Here is a little bit of background info about Operation Write Home if you do not know what they are about....
OWH is an organization designed for our soldiers over seas and we all love our heroes. This group collects handmade, blank on the on inside cards to send to our deployed soldiers so that they can in return send them to their families. Our soldiers often do not have access to cards so this is the best way. How cool is that right? I usually send out all of my card doubles to OWH if I don't use them. If you would like to donate your cards you can click HERE. There are certain guidelines to follow and for those click HERE. If you do not make cards then you can make a cash donation. This will help toward shipping cost and materials to ship the cards over seas. For more info on donating A little green click HERE.

The theme is a Spring Card. When I think Spring, I think of Bambi. Not sure why, I just do. lol
Here is a super cute card using the Cindy Loo Cartridge.
This is a Standard A-2 size card. The image is cute at 2 inches ( I think) and I used the border feature to get this particular image.
The sentiment is printed off of the computer, crunched up, and inked up. On the white doe I used a Prima flower and put a pearl in the center. She also has a pink pearl necklace and some pink bling for spots.
Brown flock was used on the little buck and pearls were added for his spots. A white gel pen was used to doodle on the deer and add foe stitching on the outside of the card. I added pink pearl swirls to the card to add dimension and a fun element.
The pom pom ribbon was bought at a random store.
I hope you enjoyed the card and a pig thanks to Operation Write Home for letting me participate in this awesome hop. You ladies Rock. I hope you decide to help them help our soldiers with your donations or handmade cards.
