First of all Thanks to Jess over at Kinder StampO for letting me participate is this fun hop. You should have arrived here from Maria over at http://scrapsbym.blogspot.com/ . If not then you can go to the beginning to visit Jess by clicking here Jess at www.KinderStampO.com.
The theme is 'Home is where the heart is'. So , you need to create a project based on that theme. Something that reminds you of family.
My project is something based on something we all do on a regular basis and that is taking pictures and showcasing out family in a frame. This picture is actually a church outside of the building we got married in. We thought it was a cool view so we took a picture of it. :D
This frame is a wooden 5 by 7 inch frame. I altered it using the following:
Crafter's Companion Stick & Spray Reposition Adhesive ( I also use this to make my cricut mat sticky) again, Gloss Mod Podge, lace, needle and thread, Ink, Stampin UP Designer Paper, hot glue, Bling, pearls, and Prima roses.
I first cut out the paper to fit my frame with an hobby blade and then sprayed my adhesive onto the wood and stuck down my paper. All if the edges on the inside of the frame and outside of the frame were inked up with Caramel colored ink.
I then added the Mod Podge to the frame and let it dry. My primas and bling were added to the frame to give the frame some dimension. Little lace flowers were made by me with Stampin UP Lace ad added to the frame as the finishing touch.
You can actually see the gloss finish from the Mod Podge.
