Welcome everyone to the My Vintage Valentine Hop. A big Thank you to Jess over at KinderStampo for letting me participate. You should have gotten here from Linda's, if not you can start at the beginning over at KinderStampO - www.KinderStampO.com. Our projects had to be truly vintage in style and Valentine related. So here we go.................. :D
I know it is cold out out there right now but what is valentines really all about.... Love, romance, kisses, hugs, date nights, roses and so much more. Just being next to my Dear Husband is all I need. :D
This project was so fun to make and really inspired by the most common thing people do On Valentines Day. Hint, go out for a romantic dinner right?
-The paper is sprayed with Starburst Spray in Cotton Candy From Lindys Stamp Gang and Chocolate Truffel blotter from the same place.
-My heat gun was used to dry the ink and to burn the paper a little to give it the vintage feel.
-Craft ink was then used to ink up the sides. The colors I used are Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, and Creamy Caramel.
-I used red sticky strip on the right edge of the heart and folded my ribbon (Stampin UP) to look like a ruffle. I then inked it up with some craft ink to age it a bit.
- Crackle Accent was also added to the That's Amore.
-This image is from the Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge and is cut at 3 inches.
- Silver doodles were added using a silver gel pen.
- A mini Prima was glued to the image and I used Crackle Accents on the flower for the crackled glass look along with a pearl in the center.
- The flowers on this project are from Prima.
-Here to the left is the back of the tag. I printed out the verse with my computer and aged my paper with ink as well. As for the black mat behind it, I ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots Folder.
- All of the pearls on the from and back are from Kaiser Scrapbook.
I hope you are all enjoying the Hop and getting a ton of ideas for this special day.
