The image was cut at 4 inches and fit nicely on this A-2 size card. The newspaper card stock is from Stampin Up. Four craft ink pads were used to create the distressed look. Who needs special ink to distress. I use what I have. :) ( Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, More Mustard, and Choc. Chip)... I then crunched the paper in my hand into a ball and unfolded it giving it several wrinkles. Close to Cocoa was used afterward to bring out the wrinkles a little better.
I cut a hole in the side of the card to run the ribbon through and tied two separate bows. ATG tape was used to hold the ribbon in place so I could tie the bows.
For the flower in here hair and the embellishment, well those are left over from cutting out a doily from a different cartridge. Waste not want not I always say. thick embossing powder (UTEE) was used to give them a nice glossy finish.
I printed out the Phrase and used some So Saffron and Creamy Caramel ink to drown out the white paper.
Enjoy :)
