Butterflies & Blogs Birthday Hop

As you know we are celebrating Laura's Birthday  today.  What a special day right..........  Our mission was to use butterflies.  Here is what I can up with.  A duel card one with a butterfly and it also celebrates mothers day. :D Enjoy.....
As you know Mothers Day is around the corner.  I don't know about you but I love mine.and to me there is no better card to give than a homemade one.  This card was made using the Paisley Cricut Cartridge. I have been on a butterfly kick lately,  Don't know why. lol :D

It was cut at 4.8 inches and welded together on the gypsy.  The layers I had to eyeball for the size as I wanted to make them smaller that the card itself to show off the glitter paper.  You can make them as big or small as you want.  The top paper is from the Mariposa DCWV Stack and popped up on pop dots.
The edges are inked up using the Soft Suede ink for Stampin UP.

Light brown pearls were added to compliment the paper and I finished the card ting some ribbon into a bow and added a Stampin Up cream rose to the middle of the bow.  I thought the flower was a great addition to the card.
