Hello everyone and Thank You for stopping buy for this fun hop. A big Thanks to The Crafty Card Gallery for Hosting this hop and letting me participate.:D
You should have gotten here from the Crafty Card Gallery. If not, that is the beginning and you can start the hop by clicking HERE.
This Hop is about friendship. We can do any card related to it. :D
I have decided to make n Easel Card. They are my favorite to make.
For this card I used the Straight From The Nest Cartridge and the CAC cartridge.
This easel card is 4 by 8 and scored at 2 and 4 inches.
The base of the square is 4 x 4 1/4. The designer paper is 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches.
The grass and flower stems, are from the Straight from the nest cart and the image is cut at 2.5 inches and cut to size. The flowers are from Prima with a button in the middle.
The two stamped sentiments are from the Scrappy MOMs Designers Choice stamps set. It was perfect for this card :D
Pearl embellishments were added to the bottom of the card as you can see. That green layer where "I'd pick you " is stamped is cut at 1 1/5 x 4 1/4 inches. It gives the illusion that the grass goes all of the way up.
The butter fly is from the CAC Cart and is cut at
.8 inches on my Gypsy. To add stability to the butterfly, I used VersaMark and UTEE (Ultra thick embossing powder)
The ends of the grass is curled to add dimension and the butterfly is glued down.
Foe stitching was added in white gel pen and a silver trail for the butterfly as well.
