Meighen & Nicole's B-Day and 1 Year Blog B-Day HOP

Hi everyone and welcome to Meighen and Nicole's Birthday Hop.  She and I are celebrating our own Birthdays this month as well as our 1 year blog Birthdays.  We thought it would be a ton of fun to team up together to celebrate them  both.  We have a lot in store for you during this hop.  There are 32 unbelievably talented women on the way.  Thank you all for participating in this special hop.  I wouldn't want to spend my birthday with anyone else.....well besides my DH. :D

For this hop, the theme we decided on is birthday, but....there is always a but......it has to me HOLIDAY inspired, for example if your holiday is St. Patricks day, then you would make a project based on that holiday but it is for a birthday.

I chose Valentines Day.

For this LO, I decided to use my Sweet Treats Cartridge for my Numbers.  These here are cut at 2 inches while the ones in the bottom right corner are cute at 3 inches. 
For this corner, I also tied a bow with and stuck it down on the paper.  Bling was added for fun and also a white gel pen was used to add foe stitching to the numbers.

Here on the right you can see that the three was run through the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and foe stitching was also added around the edge.
Fruit Punch Stickles were added to the flame and to the hearts around the numbers.
The numbers were also inked up with Regal Rose ink from Stampin UP.

Here you can see the I added some spots around the hearts and ran it through the Divine Swirl Folder.  This image is from the Seasonal Cakes Cartridge and is cut at 2 inches. 
The hearts on the layout in random spots and around the numbers are from the center of these borders.  Waste Not Want Not I always say. :D
PROJECT NUMBER 2

 Here I used the Forever Young Cartridge and cut out the purse at 5.4 inches on my gypsy.

I also cut out the perfume bottle image separate to at to the front.  It is cut at 2 inches.

Fruit punch stickles were added to the cap of the bottle.:D

The edges of the bottle were inked up using Rich Razzelberry.

Scrappy Moms Stamps (Love Note)were used for the sentiment on the bottle and the happy birthday is from Stampin UP

Primas were added with some bling and 450 Helmar Glue
I punched a hole in  little happy bday tag and used an eyelet on it. Ribbon was used to tie it on. :D
