HI everyone, boy am I going to by busy. I finally printed out all of my pictures from last year and OMG do I have a lot of work ahead of me. Fun Work though :D
Over the next couple of months, I will be posting 12 X 12 scrapbook Layouts mixed in with my regular card posts. I I have a ton of pics and a lot of LO's to do.
This first Layout revolves around Easter time. Every year, my husbands grandma has us all get together to make chocolate molds of all kinds of shapes and sizes. We really do melt all of the chocolate in white , dark, peanut butter, and milk choc flavors and put it into molds. After they are cooled we make our own Easter baskets to take home. It is soooo fun and I get to hang out with my husband's family. They are so awesome to be around.
While our chocolate molds cool Uncle Ron has a peep show with marshmallow peeps. lol It is so funny. He walks the marshmallow bunny up and down his arm and tells a short story then shoves it in his mouth. The kids get such a kick out of it. :D
Without further ado, here is the layout.
LEFT PAGE:
The paper for both pages is from the Flower Show Stack by DCWV.
The Cursive Cricut Cart was used for the words and welded together. It says , Playing With Peeps.
The chicken egg and grass along with the chick and hatched egg are 4 x 4 Quick Kutz (metal die that has an image on it that you cut out).
A pom pom ribbon was used to lay at the top and I used sticky strip or red tape to stick it down.
Stickles were used on the outer part of the white shell (crystal)and on the edges of the cracked shell(fruit Punch). The grass, trees and leaves (Lime green) and flowers (orange peel) had stickles on them as well.
A goggle eye and prima flowerwas used on this page.
Also each orange flower running along the middle of the page also has a green bling in the center of each flower.
RIGHT PAGE:
On this page I used the Animal Kingdom Cartridge and cut out this cut bunny at 5 inches.
The eggs and the carrot are from my 2x2 quick Kutz.
I used one of the cut out eggs for the belly of the rabbit because it did not have a layer for that.
I ran one egg through the swiss dots cuttlebug folder and the other through the divine swirls folder.
The carrot was run through the forrest branches folder to add lines as if it were real.
The month is cut out using the Sizzix Calendar Dies Set.
Stickles were added to the carrot laves and the egg along with the orange flower border(same as the left page)
Below are a more detailed look at the bigger images.
(FYI ALERT) I used my quick cutz and sizzix die with my cuttle bug machine. I love that I do not need 3 machines to do the same job. The cuttle bug works with all of them.
I really hope you enjoy this layout as much as I did creating it. Have a great night everyone. Please contact me HERE if you have any questions.
