Fall Card Inspired By The Beautiful Day Today And A Picture of Wild Turkeys In Our Back Yard

So I can't begin to tell you how beautiful it is outside today.  It is probably the last warm day around here then into the fifties it goes.    Today  we will be covering up our 5th wheel travel trailer  and my DH has already winterized it.  Maybe take a drive to Amish country.  Before we take off though I wanted to make a card inspired by today.  I used the Heritage Cartridge to do this card.

From the Cartridge I used the tree on  page 25 cut at 3 inches , the leaves on page 25 cut at 1 inch, the bike cut at 1 3/4 inches on page 63 and the frame cut at 3/4 inches on page 64.

I used Crackle Accents on the tree to give the illusion of bark on the tree and on the bike I used a glitter Mod Podge and hardener Mod Podge.  I used ink to distress the paper,  tree, bike and sentiment.  (Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie and some Old Olive all by Stampin Up)

On the wheels of the bike I added some I rock pearls to the spoke center and some Mini Primas on the basket of the bike to add some fall color.

I inked up my ribbon to give it that tattered look.  Iit is gross grain ribbon from Paper Tray Ink.

Find Inspiration In Everything.

P.S.  Oh and by the way two days ago  we had wild turkeys in our back yard and I wanted to share them with you just because I found it totally cool.  I am blessed to be living where I live.

  1. Your card is absolutely beautiful gorgeous! It is like looking at a beautiful postcard. I just love everything about it. I especially like the turkeys in the yard. Thanks for including the photos. Oh, and the weather must be better there than here. We have been under tornado watches and warnings for about 22 hours. Its getting old. I'm ready for your weather.
